You, Me & The Circus: Official Trailer [HD] and Release Date

Digital and Video On Demand (VOD) distributor, GoDigital, has announced that the musical fantasy, You, Me & The Circus, will be released on September 4th and will be available on "all cable and internet VOD destinations".

This is great news, as this extraordinary independent original feature film - written (with Marlon Ollivierre) and directed by Ty Hodges, and produced by Omar Epps' BrooklynWorks Films - has had limited mainstream exposure to date, with just a handful of festival and private screenings. Despite this relatively small outing, however, the You, Me & The Circus festival tour yielded very favorable reception, several award nominations and a win for 'Best Narrative Feature' at the NYLA International Film Festival's first session in 2011.

Matt Dallas (Max/Him), Anita Briem (Bo/Her), Ty Hodges (Ralph) and Melonie Diaz (Andrea) front the multi-talented cast of actors, singers, dancers and circus performers with multi award-winning hip hop producer, Kevin 'Khao' Cates, as Musical Supervisor.

The premise of the film: "With Max and Bo’s relationship on the outs, tensions flare in a last-ditch effort to understand their crumbling love. Caught in the crossfire are their friends, Ralph and Andrea, who spark the beginnings of new love while their friends’ comes to a bitter halt. Fantasy accompanies reality as the characters reveal their true emotions in a magical, bohemian circus infused with dancing, acrobatics and original music." (Source)
